My New Laptop

We finally purchased a new laptop last Wednesday. Before that we compared some prices before we bought it. Hubby let me chose it so I asked the technician what is the fastest computer they have in store. He told us that intel i3 or i5 processors are really good computers. Windows 7 is an upgrade of Vista so it makes the computer fast too. I am glad he explained it to us before we decided to buy it. I decided to get the Hp Pavilion which I am using now. It has an i3 processor and a windows 7. It is amazingly very fast and I am loving it. No need of waiting forever for the computer to load up. On top of that we also got a $50 rebate. We also purchased an extended warranty plan and a Microsoft Office. In addition, we also upgraded the other laptop to windows 7 to make it more fast. Thank you so much honey for buying the new computer. I really love this!

I got excited when I saw the sales at CVC this week so we grabbed the paper and checked the things I would need to buy there. Crest is on sale for $1.88 wohoo! Listerine is 50% off. And my favorite part cosmetics. NYC and Rimmel London is buy get one, so I grabbed Rimmel lipsticks. On top of that I used my $2 coupons for the lipsticks. I also had a $3 coupon for Motrin PM. Hmm, I'm getting good at using coupons.

Last week I bought a make up kit for $14.99 because I was able to use the 20% off gift certificate from the paper ad. This week they have $3.50 off of any $10 purchase. Searching For A New Laptop

I am planning to buy a new laptop computer since I will be sending the one I have right now to my mom in the Philippines. I want to send this to her because the other computer finally retired on them. Aside from that I am not loving this computer that I am currently having. I felt it's speed is too slow for me. I needed a faster one.
I really want to have an Apple computer since I have heard of its durability and dependability. Some friends suggested that a Dell or an HP will be good as well. So I am currently browsing for some good computers. The final decision comes from hubby. Apple laptop costs a thousand bucks, an HP around 800 and a Dell for around 700. Quality come first and foremost but frugalista husband minds the price so much more. How about a Sony Vaio? Some said it is overpriced. I wonder why. Decisions, decisions...

What's Going On?

I haven't updated this blog for a long time even if I have shopped more than a dozen time since my last post. Alot of things made me very busy. Most f all my work occupied my time.
I went to Walmart today and found some good deals. I bought 2 blouses worth 3 dollars each and a sweater worth $5. I also bought a playtex bra on sale for $13 but was originally priced for 17.50. Best of all I got some dark chocolates worth a buck each. When I fall in line to pay my stuff a nice lady told me to go ahead of her. When an old man came with only one gallon of oil I told him to go ahead of me. The cashier was confused and asked us, " What's going on?" Is it really unusual for people do a good thing to someone nowadays? An act of kindness is contagious don't you think so?
